I represented the buyers in the purchase of this Meriden home, which closed on June 16, 2026. They were attracted to its price, potential, and convenient location near shopping, restaurants, and work. The home also had some very memorable features, including a Star Wars themed bathroom and a Coca-Cola themed basement. I’ll never forget either one! Because there were multiple offers, I completed a comparative market analysis before helping my clients submit an offer with an appraisal-gap provision. This gave the sellers additional protection if the appraisal came in below the purchase price while my research gave us confidence that the home would ultimately live up to our expectations. I was right, the property ultimately appraised, so my clients did not need to use the additional funds, and kept the money in their pockets.
